Another option for participating in the Manor’s activities is The Manor Link, a volunteer organization founded in August of 2003 and made up of current and previous employees, family members and others from the community. The Manor Link’s mission is “to support the Manor through increased community awareness, special events and service opportunities.” Our planned events have included a music festival called “Music at the Manor”, a Valentine’s Day Bowl-a-thon and building a float for the Snake Saturday (St. Patrick’s Day) Parade. The Manor Link meets quarterly, and anyone is welcome to attend – please call to ask about the next meeting date.
There are no special requirements for participating in maintenance or event work. However, anyone who would like to volunteer to do a project or any work directly with the ladies is required to complete a background check.
For more information about service opportunities at the Manor, please contact: Dale Herrick, Executive Director 2135 Manor Way Liberty, MO 64068 (816) 781-4332, ext. 224 Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
